Took the wife’s phone in for repair. Met by young smart man who diagnosed the issue As a damaged screenbut wanted to check with a colleague first. Left phone there & received a text confirming a screen replacement & a price to fix at PS100. On collecting another man dealt with me, I found him quiet & did not engage with me as I like. He did not show me that he had corrected the fault, just handed the phone & asked if I wanted a screen protector applied for PS5. I thought he may of offered this free as I went across to the bank to get cash as this was his preferred payment. I tried to engage with both of them but nothing was coming back from them just a yes/no etc. I felt on leaving that they need to be more friendly to make this shop my first choice when back in the market.
They were polite throughout but just need to talk a bit more to the customer.

Deeply unimpressed – explained the specific issue and the only situation that caused it – also what things I had already tried. On my second wasted walk back to collect it – a different staff member explained to me that the phone was old and didn’t have enough space to download an app. This was nothing to do with the issue of 3.8GB of internal storage space being filled up overnight. I may be a middle aged woman with a 3 year old phone but after 30 odd years in an IT environment I certainly know how to communicate a technical issue and these guys were clearly not interested or have extremely poor listening skills.

EDIT: I will not be returning, the store was not busy when I tried to explain the issue – I was the only person there – that is not a valid excuse

Got an iPhone screen replaced here as it was the cheapest quote. Looked fine but felt cheeped and Within 1 month broken, went in again as they guy claimed it had 1 year warranty. The guy charged me again for a replacement.

Anyway went to get it replaced from a reputable Apple authorised service centre in Kingston. When they opened it up they were shocked at the quality of screen, also there were missing screws not put in properly.

I would stay as far away as possible and spend the extra money as it will save you long term.
