Geek Squad in westmount | Best Phone, Laptop, and Computer Repair Services at Affordable Prices | Quick Fixes

I was a subscriber of Geek Squad for more than a year and a half. When I subscribed, I was told that if any internal issue happened to my phone, I would get a free replacement from them. That is not true, do not believe that. My phone’s battery went bad, and a replacement from Geek Squad would cost me at least $200, which the amount I spent with them during that period would easily cover.

I promptly canceled my subscription and do not recommend one. My subscription ended up summing up to hundreds of dollars, which afforded me a couple of cheap screen protectors.

After that, I called the phone’s manufacturer and got a free replacement, which is what should happen for an internal issue. Thankfully, I did not fall for Geek Squad’s $200 little tale.

Very bad service.
I came here to get my laptop fixed. They sent it out for repair, but then told me they couldn’t fix it because they contacted the manufacturer (Dell) for a part and apparently, this part was out of stock and not made anymore.
I then just sent my computer to Dell for repair. A bit of an extra charge, but Dell magically was able to find this “out of stock” part and didn’t make excuses.
Seems like Geek Squad either doesn’t have the patience, or is too lazy to find a part, so they would rather just tell the customer they can’t fix it.
Thankfully I didn’t waste my money on buying a new laptop from Best Buy.

Oh my God I cancelled for 3 times now they agree but still charge me a=everytime with a smile. They never sent me any kit any antivirus” When I cancelled they kept taking my money after I spoke to a supervisor that told me they only payback at the store , but still charget me 2 months, now Im waiting on the fone 45 minutes and counting to talk to the all over again. I fixed everything myself before I lose my job. They dont care .
