The technician (Sandip KC) phoned a minute before he was due to say he would be 30 minutes late. He arrived an hour and 10 minutes later.
The technician came into the premises without a mask although when we booked the session we specifically stated that due to Government regulations the technician had to be double vaxxed and a mask worn at all times.
When booking the session, I had given specific tasks that I wanted done, two of which require tools. The technician came without any tools.
I spent the first 5 minutes when he arrived outlining the tasks required and that we had already done our own analysis of our system, so needed certain areas addressed plus needed the replacement of some otdated and inadequate equipment.
The technician then spent the next hour on the system and rather than doing the tasks he was asked to do, he did the same analysis we had done and told us we needed to do address the EXACT same areas we had said needed to be done when we booked the session and during the first 5 minutes when it was explained to him.
I told him to stop working on our system and just remove the equipment that were two of the tasks outlined when we booked the session. He did this quite well, except he had no tools so he had to ask us if we had any tools and if so, could he use them.
The quote he got for the new equipment to replace the outdated items was 3 times as much as we had been quoted by another provider.
To top things off, when he left we found he had changed settings within our LAN and WiFi that caused some items to not recognise other components, which took us 20 minutes to rectify.
Then he had the hide to suggest that he should be paid an extra hour because even though he was late the appointment started from the time stated when the session was booked. I told him that I was not paying for his being late and having to find a mask.
This is by far the worst computer service experience I have had in 44 years of being involved with computers and that is saying something!
Use this company at your peril and definitely do not let them send Sandip KC as the technician.
Basically my computer didn’t turn on and I called to make a booking they wanted $170 upfront with no guarantee on the outcome. Sandeep came, opened up my pc, said the motherboard was fried and offered to get it fixed for a further $500 and that was it. I understand that a fee should be given to the technician for coming to my house but $170 for a 10 minute assessment seems a bit much. I declined and asked for a partial reimbursement and they have not replied, so I guess posting a review is the only thing I can do to show my dissatisfaction.
Use their services at your discretion, you’re essentially taking a $170 gamble that your computer isn’t suffering from hardware problems and if it is be prepared to shell out more money.
UPDATE: I have notified the department of fair trading and lodged a complaint unfortunately they called me back and said there was no breach of contract and recommended to seek legal advice. All I can say is DON’T GO TO THIS PLACE IT IS A SCAM!
