My Hotpoint washing machine eventually gave up the ghost on Friday afternoon. I found a replacement online and went to Woolacotts on Saturday morning with the details. Gemma found they had three in stock. There was a delivery slot for that same afternoon. So in less that 24 hours my washing machine broke and a new one was fitted, the old one taken away. Woolacotts is our go-to store for white goods. Efficient, friendly staff and prices competitive with online stores.

I think pretty much everything with a plug we’ve bought in the past 8yrs has come from Woolacotts in Bude – always brilliant service and competitive prices. When our oven went off a few weeks ago the repair charge was very reasonable and the repair was carried out promptly once the faulty part was in stock – very happy we went that route rather than just replace it and I can’t fault the level of care taken by Jack the repair man.
