Went in a few weeks ago to buy a pair of headphones. Ended up paying PS50 for a pair that sounded ok in the shop but broke spontaneously the next day, leaving frayed and split wires exposed. I googled the name of the headphones on the box and discovered after extensive searching (they were very hard to find) that I had wildly overpaid for them. I planned to go back in to get a refund but somewhere along the line I lost my receipt. Reading some of the other reviews is making me wonder if getting a refund would have been a painless process though.

The workers in the store were quite rude before I bought them too, struggling to take no for an answer when I suggested they didn’t have what I was looking for. So, I ended up overspending PS50 on headphones I didn’t really want that broke after just one use.

While I accept some of the failure was an error on my part, I certainly won’t be visiting the store again, as I don’t trust the quality of the products on sale. You might have a different experience if you tend to take a harder stance in negotiation- I’m a bit of a wet blanket.

Edit: forgot to mention another detail about the headphones. They’re advertised as have “active noise cancelling” and have “ANC” in bold writing across the front of the box. In actuality the button plays a sound “ANC on” and “ANC off” intermittently with absolutely no noticeable changes to outside noise. The button also plays this sound both when the headphones are on and off, which suggests to me it might slowly drain battery even when switched off. Definitely avoid ‘Ven-Dens’ if nothing else.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Icrack Cardiff. My girlfriend and I purchased a glass screen protector for her phone, which was applied by a staff member who clearly struggled with the process. Despite his assurance that there would be no issues, a large air bubble appeared under the screen soon after we got home.

We tried to fix it ourselves by following the steps the employee had taken, but the bubble reappeared. It was obvious that the screen protector was either defective or improperly applied by the store staff.

When I returned to the store to request a refund, the staff were incredibly uncooperative. They insisted that refunds could not be processed in-store and only offered a replacement, which was useless to us since we had already purchased a new one elsewhere. They eventually gave me the manager’s email, but after sending a detailed complaint, I have yet to receive any response.

This store’s customer service is abysmal. They refuse to stand behind the quality of their products and fail to address legitimate complaints. Avoid this place at all costs if you value your time and money. There are plenty of other stores with better products and far superior customer service.

I had the worst experience; I went in for a back glass and battery replacement for my iPhone 12 Pro max with a fully working screen, during his repair he broke my original display and blamed the rear glass being broken that caused the screen to break when it was running through the laser Machine for the removal of the back glass when it’s evident that when he was opening my phone to change the battery he cracked screen and damaged, and I could tell because I have six years of experience in repairing mobile device and proceed to upsell me the worst screen for PS60 when I already paid PS160 for my battery and back glass The lack of accountability is infuriating and imagine the number of people that could have experienced that, is frustrating.
Strongly to avoid this business for repair service.
