I don’t normally provide any reviews but feel I need to on this occasion as the service was so bad.
I was very unhappy with the repair service at this shop. I needed the camera replaced on my phone and they initially said PS35/PS40 but then changed that to PS70 when I wanted to proceed. I’d already had a quote for PS60 but went ahead with their PS70 quote as I was in the shop and they could do it the same day. They wanted a PS20 deposit which is reasonable but when I went to collect my phone they had ordered the wrong camera so hadn’t completed the repair. I then had to return the next day when they had received the correct camera. They needed half an hour to complete the repair but when I returned, they said they had been waiting for me as if I was late. We then tested the camera and they re-assembled the phone. I had to ask for the phone case which they started to say they hadn’t had before realising it was under their nose on the bench. I paid and left thinking job done although the camera needed to be properly tested. The next day I did some WhatsApp messages and then caught the train into London. Now I found that I couldn’t make any calls, texts, WhatsApp message and some photos which I needed were missing. I connected to the train Wi-Fi and WhatsApp started working but nothing else as there was no SIM or SD card in the phone. This completely stuffed my day. I may never know how many calls I missed or how many people I upset but I do know the calls I couldn’t make and the people I left waiting for those calls. Irepair messaged me late morning confirming they had forgotten to replace the SIM and SD card but I was now in London and the SIM card was in Epsom. I dropped into Irepair the next day and they inserted the missing components. I’m sure they understand how important their phone is to them but they disregard the importance of their customer’s phone. They were sloppy and careless resulting in a massif inconvenience to me. Think twice before you trust them with anything important to you like a phone or laptop. I did manage to get a ‘sorry’ from them but with an accompanying smile. It meant nothing and they didn’t acknowledge the inconvenience they had caused. I pressed them to show they were sorry by refunding the repair costs, a minimal sum but this of cause was ‘not possible’. A truly terrible service.

Unfortunately my experience has not been good. Last October I took my iPhone 6s to them as it required a new screen and when I arrived to pick it up 30 minutes later my phone did not work. I then got talked in to buying a new phone. The new phone required a new battery after on 6 months and this week it went back again because my phone signal stopped working. After more than a week I was told it needed a new part but having picked it up , my emails are all missing and almost all apps all required re – registering.

These guys are the best. Such great service. I was out of the country and contacted them via Messager. They were quick to respond, ordered the screen for me so when I arrived, my daughter’s phone could be repaired immediately. Great service. Thank you.
