I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I received at your Victoria Station branch on Friday, March 1st, at 10:30, where I had booked an appointment to fix my camera lens.

I chose iSmash for the repair due to your reputable name and the assurance of quality service, despite the relatively high cost of PS65 for the repair. Unfortunately, my experience has been nothing short of a disappointment. Not only was the issue with my camera lens not resolved, but it has actually worsened, making it impossible for me to take clear pictures.

Upon raising my concerns with the representative at the branch, I was met with unhelpfulness and a dismissive attitude. To add insult to injury, when I requested a refund for the subpar service, I was told that the only solution would be to remove the lens entirely, leaving me without a functioning camera. This response was both shocking and appalling, and it further deepened my dissatisfaction with iSmash.

As a first-time customer, my experience has been extremely disheartening, and I regret choosing iSmash over an independent local store. To make matters worse, when I sought a second opinion from a local technician, I was presented with viable options for resolving the issue, either by changing the lens or the entire camera. To my astonishment, the technician revealed that the entire camera had already been replaced during my visit to iSmash, as indicated by the “Unknown part” message in the settings.

Given the circumstances, I am formally requesting an investigation into the matter under reference 3534501. Furthermore, I am seeking a full refund for the unsatisfactory service and the inconvenience caused. I believe it is only fair that I am compensated for the substandard workmanship and the unnecessary replacement of the entire camera.

I hope this matter can be resolved promptly and to my satisfaction. I appreciate your immediate attention to this issue and expect a response at your earliest convenience.

Your engineer was on his own and had a massive intake of issue during my hour slot. When I came back he asked me to come back in another hour which wasn’t possible due to an appointment I had. While your engineer did his best to replace my battery quickly it isn’t holding charge very well so suggests poor quality parts. Your prices are reasonable but that’s really the case only positive

Had my 1st gen iPhone SE’s battery replaced in another branch-it needed replacing- but the phone was not charging. The member of staff at Victoria quickly realised that the charging port needed to be cleaned (and not replaced). He did this as a courtesy in a matter of minutes. Great service!
