Having experienced the unfortunate mishap of cracking the screen of my Pixel 7 Pro, my journey to find a reliable repair service led me to iSmash Birmingham, following an initial, unsuccessful attempt at a different repair shop. This latter venue, despite two attempts, could not restore full functionality to my phone, leaving me with issues including a malfunctioning fingerprint scanner, a misaligned rear camera, as well as reduced sensitivity on my touchscreen.

Upon arriving at iSmash and leaving my device in the capable hands of Asnan, I was pleasantly surprised to find that, in just 30 minutes, my phone was returned to me in perfect working order. The repair was not only quick but also remarkably smooth, addressing and resolving all previous issues without compromise. This level of service and technical proficiency was particularly impressive, considering the complexity of the problems and the failure of the previous repair attempts.

For those in need of directions to iSmash’s office, the process is straightforward. Upon arrival at the building, enter through the reception area, where you should provide your name and mention you’re there iSmash. Next, proceed through the barriers towards the lift lobby. Here, take the lift up to the first level. Upon exiting, turn right and go through the glass doors, then make a left turn to approach a second reception desk. The friendly staff there will then direct you to the appropriate office on that floor.

One of the kids dropped my phone down the stairs and the dreaded vertical bars started appearing across my screen. This was after having it fixed by another vendor only a couple of days previously!

The other vendor was closed when I attempted to go back to them, so I decided to give iSmash a try with several positive Google reviews and near my office.

I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised. The service was, quick, professional and friendly, and they were able to fix my phone no problem. It was a bit more expensive than the other vendor, but I realise now that this is because iSmash have done a much better job and the phone is looking better than it was even before it was broken!

Also, iSmash were honest and transparent about costs upfront – they gave me a quote before they did the work, and even gave me a discount when I explained my situation.

I did struggle to find them deep in the Lewis Building on Bull Street in Birmingham. But I will definitely be returning to iSmash in future (and definitely not the other vendor) and I would recommend for sure.

My phone smashed yesterday needed an appointment ASAP he was fully booked but understood that I needed my phone and he fixed it and managed to squeeze it in for me.
