I recently visited this shop for an iPad battery replacement, and my experience was far from satisfactory.

First off, there was no customer greeting–no “please,” “thank you,” or “sorry.” They initially tried to claim that I had left the battery plugged in too long, which caused the screen glue to pop up. They then changed the service to an examination with a PS30 fee and promised to call back in a day. I didn’t hear anything for several days.

When I finally received a text saying my iPad was ready, I went to collect it, but they hadn’t accounted for the PS30 I already paid. The worst part was discovering a line across the screen, as shown in the picture, which I noticed only after opening the YouTube app at home. I can’t be bothered to go back there.

I also noticed that many of their 5-star reviews come from accounts with only one review, which is quite telling.

I came to see iFixIt due to my screen becoming non responsive due to a crack in the bottom right corner of my phone. They said that it will be done within an hour but was done in less than 40 minutes. The staff were efficient and polite, and my phone is working perfectly. They even applied a screen case for me at no extra cost.

Staff were extremely helpful with a battery replacement for my iPhone XS Max. Superb product knowledge and reassured me through the whole process. Extremely happy with the service provided. Located just outside East Croydon station
