Visited this afternoon as I wanted to see how much a repair would cost my my cracked screen for my Macbook. The kid behind the counter (didn’t catch his name) but he had curly hair and was too busy playing pool on his phone to pay attention to what I was saying, was soooo unprofessional. I asked him how much it would cost to get the screen repaired and he replied, whilst playing pool on his phone, “really expensive it’s gonna cost alot,” without even looking at the model of my Macbook or the damage to the screen. He barely looked up from his screen whilst playing so I said to him, “well how about you look it at before you decide that and tell me what the steps are.” He replied, I was “better off going to an official Apple store as this store charges PS90 initial assessment and then between PS400-PS700 fixing the screen” – still without looking at the screen or even looking off his phone for that matter. Absolutely unprofessional and terrible customer service. I left without any help or any further advice. Wish I took his name, but I went in at 2.15pish and the kid had black curly hair and fair skin. Do better!!!

Unfortunately I have had two bad experiences here, so it is worth leaving a review. The first: I was permanently locked out of my iPad and I needed it reset. They told me I needed to buy a new one. I then had it fixed in 2 min by the IT guy at work. The second: I had a cracked phone screen, covered by Apple warranty, and they couldn’t figure out how to prepare it for repair, i.e. turn off Find My Phone. We (my husband and then me) went back to the store physically twice on their advice to help them change this setting (which is super simple) and then the day was over and the phone still not fixed. I took it to the Guildford Apple Store a week later and it took them 30 seconds to prepare it for repair and the did it within a couple hours.

I have visited this store a few times and to be honest I do never t know why I bother ?
The staff are so unhelpful as if they can literally not be at all bothered.. whoever employs these staff should train them up on customer services and how to deal with customers. If anyone has ever seen the little Britain sketch it is just like that
No bother at all. Not willing ti help at all…
it always helps when someone try’s to help you and if they cannot to do it in a helpful manner, not “oh well cannot help you sorry” I gave 1 star only for the purpose I cannot send the review otherwise you would not have that either. Shocking really!
