I personally had a great experience in JAE electronics when I broke my camera and lens, twice…. The owner is so friendly and genuine , understood my situation, fixed my camera and lens as early as possible. Also he charged me so reasonably..
just look at the camera lens situation when I handover to him .. he fixed it so neatly that I felt like sharing my experience and that would help many other photographers who is looking for a better place to fix their camera .

This guy is amazing to camera repairs. You kinda gotta find your way to his place through a maze, it’s also near the MLM scheme Primerica haha, but at least when you see that building you’ll see JAE repair. Most places send the lens away for weeks or months and charge minimum $200. I won’t get into the specifics but depending on your fix, he charges way less and does the repairs himself in under a week (obviously depends on your situation).

I ordered a Nikon FM2 off eBay that had issues with the film forward lever getting stuck.

Jae quoted me a price 1/3 of downtown camera. And he did it for free (the quote). He also got the work done in one day.

Every other store I spoke with wanted 50-100dollar fees before I got a quote, and 2-3 weeks turn around time.
