I must admit that I wouldn’t normally go to JBHIFI for tech stuff… and today I was reminded why. It was a last minute visit as I was in dire need of the item.

30 minutes till closing time… walk in… told to leave by the person at the front telling me they’re closed. (People in the store still being attended to – I’m thoroughly confused but i walk out anyway). Maybe it was the fact that I was carrying $100 dollar notes in my hand that summoned the wolves.. ?
Was about to get in the car to leave when another staff member calls out and asks “what are you after?” I tell them and go into the store. Said I needed an item for work – couldn’t help me (that’s ok) but instead of giving me other options guy just stands there – seemed like they just wanted me to leave. As we were leaving – staff are standing in a circle laughing looking towards the car… I’m not sure what that was about, but anyway… I won’t be back. If you don’t want to help me then my money is not for you. I’m big on customer service… and running a business myself I’d be disgusted if any of my staff treated customers this way.

They weren’t accomodating and officeworks staff were much more price effective, much more friendly and welcoming and actually wanted to help. They gave me options and wanted to work with me. JB – wanting to charge me $800 – nearly $2000 for an apple ipad… officeworks… got an apple ipad within my price range and with someone who was happy to answer my questions and look into things for me.

But yes… thanks JB for your “kind” treatment on the Sunday.

For the past couple of days I’ve been trying to get my microwave fixed from JB hi fi but they keep on saying that it can’t be done as it is just 2 weeks out of manufacturers warranty. It’s been there once already with the same issue which they should’ve replaced in the first place. Then I met Elle at the phones counter and I have to say her service was exceptional! From the moment I walked in, she greeted me warmly and made me feel welcomed. She was attentive and really listened to what I had to say, offering thoughtful recommendations and tried to resolve the issue.

She even talked to her manager and came up with a solution rather than just saying it can’t be done. She was patient and very helpful. Thanks to her, I left the store confident and satisfied with the outcome. I highly recommend seeking her assistance if you want great service with a smile!

Great place to get the most technological stuff and collectibles. Love their price match policy and are always reliable. Most of the things I have in my house are from them. Though twice it has happened that the stuff I received became faulty but since they were in warranty period they offered me to replace or refund it without much fuss. The only thing why they lost 1 star is due to the wait time as you have to keep finding staff who are free as most of them are being taken by the other customers. Also the staff doesn’t know much about the products or suggestions or offers etc so you need to be knowledgeable between differences between different products and their features before going there. Otherwise always a nice experience to go there, sometimes I just go there to browse the stuff which they have and I ended up buying something
