I dealt with four or five staff at the Belconnen store on Friday – Cain, Jamie, Haylee and two others and they were all very friendly and helpful. I had a return I wanted to make and the circumstances of it were not so straightforward to present to them however they all gave me plenty of time to explain my claim and reasoning with them and made me feel like I was a valued customer. I felt like they gave me plenty of time and attention and all pulled together to give me the best service they could and the result was fantastic. I was very happy with the resolution offered by the staff and the process with which we arrived at that resolution. It was painless and pleasant to say the least. I will prioritise JB Hifi Belconnen and JB Hifi in general for consideration of any future purchases because I feel confident they’re going to do the right thing by me and that the way they handle things is straightforward, fair and helpful.

Side detail – two or three times another customer interrupted the staff member I was talking to and they handled it quite gracefully I thought and were still helpful to this other person as well.

Poor customer service!! I have bought several electronic goods from JB hi fi.i have always good experiences.Some of them have even given discounts and information to help the customer to chooose.Today I went to buy a headphone.Poor experience with the staff.Some of them were being lazy and just saying I am not from this area but were serving other customers in that area.The $10 voucher system not working.The item was not even bagged.I have to ask for it.No attempt from the staff to help.There was a lady who was kind enough to help me at least choose.I appreciate her time and effort.When you are dealing with customers as part of your job you need to show respect and be supportive.

I visited them on 24/08/24 for a price match to a western digital hard drive. The staff said he agreed to price match with the other store deal. At first he himself could not find it and I had to show it to him. Very poor searching skills. The product was the same brand, same specs, except this JB hi fi Store didn’t have the same color. The staff decided to have another staff with him to gang up on me saying the color is different and ask for an extra 20$. Hmm, differentiate same product same specs by color in my opinion was very technically unprofessional.

Verdict: same brand same product same specs, differentiate color is a true based racist.
