I was visiting a relative nearby and forgot my laptop charger. Went in this shop and the owner was very helpful initially and I bought a charger, he asked if I was paying cash or card. I said card and he said he’d rather have the cash and asked that I drop the additional tenner in the next day.

The charger was buzzing loudly and making my PC crash, it was also not charging my laptop (just allowing it to stay on). I took it straight back and it was replaced, he informed me to come back for my money back if I had further issues. I took this home and had the same issue.

I did not have time to go back again and so took it in the following day, this time he was very rude and said the ‘deal was done’ and he was not willing to refund me. I left it with him as it was of no use to me and dangerous

Would definitely not recommend and much regretted asking for a repair. I did get my money refunded – eventually. Owner appeared helpful, but with hindsight think was so I committed to repair work which was ineffective and inadequate. Probably the machine, although very high spec, was not able to be fixed properly at an economic cost due to its age. If he had been professional rather than ‘just after the money’ as suggested by another dissatisfied reviewer, he would have told me that this was the case. He took the machine against the refund which he may either cannibalise or, after part repair, sell on as ‘it works as long as you don’t……’. I suggest you don’t go there.

Avoid! Very rude owner and overcharging for parts.
But! What’s worse – the quality of his work is very poor. In a long run my laptop got destroyed completely because he didn’t fix it properly.
He just doesn’t care at all. It’s all about the money.
