Okay. I called on Saturday and organised to drop my MacBook off for an insurance report, which was all fine. As I dropped it off I was told Monday/Tuesday as there is a que which I was fine with. Come Monday I sent a text message just checking if everything was still on time. To which I received no response. So I tried to call and no answer. Then Tuesday I sent another message to get her to respond. And I still got nothing back. Then Wednesday I send yet another message asking for her to respond and I tried to call but no answer. About half an hour later I get a very rude phone call in a very aggressive tone telling me that I don’t seem to understand that there is a que and that I am being demanding ??? I then go and pick up the laptop and I was told that she was sick yesterday. How an I supposed to know that when there is zero correspondence and that it is somehow my fault ? Needs to learn customer service skills.

Visited EVERY computer store and supplier, (both the big chains and the little guys) and I was resigned to the fact that my challenge couldn’t be solved.
Last ditch I get told about a little known biz, turns out to be a premises being manned by an unassuming, introverted bloody GENIUS answering the unbranded door, that looks nothing like a business. So I’m not exactly thinking my problem is going to be solved, but….

…what every computer business in town, both big and small, apologetically yet emphatically swore could be done by no-one but the manufacturer, was 100% solved by Lexi for about a third of what I expected to be charged.

I recently had my MacBook battery replaced and I was very impressed with both the quick turnaround and the affordable pricing.

They also attended to the dust buildup inside my laptop, removing it without any additional charges.
