Mick is brilliant, he called me about my macbook pro not switching on or charging and explained I’d blown 3 of the 4 ports!! That alarmed me, I was honest and said I’d used multiple hard drives to one port via USB. That blew them! I now use a single cable per hard drive and I’m able to charge it successfully. He also recommended shutting the macbook down rather than ‘sleep’ mode. It’s been about a few weeks and it’s working great. Highly recommended MacTeca’s services and being reasonably priced.
If I could more than 5 stars I would. Mick is one of a kind and is genuinely there to help people rather than rip people off like a lot of other electronic / tech stores. He patiently and calmly problem solved a hard drive issue and helped save me lots of important data. If you ever have a tech problem go here.
I went in because my iPhone charge port wasn’t working and they sorted it for me in minutes. Other repair shops were quoting me PS40-PS50 to replace the part, but Mick gave it a clean, got all the mess out for me free of charge and it works good as new. It’s not easy to find this type of service these days.
