I HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.

I purchased a laptop and within 2 days the laptop was crashing so I went back with the bill and the laptop. The staff member handling the laptop section initially pretended he didn’t understand me as I spoke in English(though his colleagues said he spoke English quite well), then I used Google translate to tell him the laptop wasn’t working and then finally he spoke to me (in English) and
agreed that the laptop was faulty and asked me to get the packaging so he could replace it. I returned with the packaging in the next 20 mins and he was ignoring me. I just assumed he was busy with other customers and waited but even after handling them he refused to speak to me and made me wait for 20 mins until it was almost closing time, then signaled his colleague who came up to me and said they were closed.
I did say there was over 15 mins left for closing and I was leaving Gottingen for a month (which would close the return window). I explained to them and they were ignorant. The man at the service desk helped me out and even he was made to wait by the rude staff member before he could tell anything. Finally in the last 5 mins they hurriedly got me to take another laptop.

The whole experience was terrible. I know my German skills are bad which is why I used a translator to clearly explain myself and he was still ignorant and rude to me. I do not know if that staff member was rude to me because he was being discriminatory towards me or he’s just just way with everyone. Never going to visit this branch again.

You interact with people but lack effective communication. You could politely control the situation,” I said. The security guard tried to calm me down. Unfortunately, I had such a negative experience. I hope no one goes through this.
