Wish I could put minus stars. Herr Hartmann. Don’t ever deal with this person. I’ve have never seen anyone be so anti foreign in germany. Poor young apprentice did not make a mistake. Just went off what his system said. Got home with a drone. Was ex display. Was as a present for a colleague from work. He opens it…no drone.
No problem…go back, get it and ask for discount and a bit more for petrol. It was not cool when colleague opened a present with no drone. Herr Hartmann attitude stunk. Made me wait 30 mins till attended. He said tough. I asked to put in a complaint. Said no!
Requested there rules on complaint procedure. Told me to go home and go on the website. Told him by law, if requested it should be given. Still nothing.
I asked Herr Hartmann to speak to his manager. Herr Hartmann refused.
I found the manager myself. Same attitude. Asked for complaint procedure. Again would not give it me. Then pretended he did not speak English. So Google translate I used.
This is a national franchise.
I like mediamarkt, spent thousands there, so have my colleagues. Never been treated in mediamarkt like I was by Herr Hartmann. Felt it was because I was not German. Tried his best for me not to complain to his manager.

Oh just been told my colleague that the parts are missing for the drone. Not looking forward to going back tomorrow. No other choice.

Media Markt itself is a great place, but this Media Markt reserved minus 5 Stars, for it is the worst business I have ever had to deal with in my entire life. I wonder who the person in charge is, that does not care at all what his team leads and workers are doing and how they treat the costumers. I have been waiting for over 3 month for a refrigerator that was promised to me 4 weeks later and was promised to me that the delivery guys would be able to fit it inside the home with the measurements I have given. Weeks and weeks no updates, no phone number to contact them (only the Media Markt costumer service line that has nothing to do with this Media Markt), and at the end I had to drive 45 minutes to ask to talk to the person in charge, who was not willing to come out and talk. To end it here, rude emails from team lead, no one cares, fridge did not fit, was taken back and a week later no call from Media Markt what will happen to my money and I sitting with my broken refrigerator at home no knowing if I can go this weekend to buy a new refrigerator. NEVER shot at this place, even if they have 50% off, else you be paying more at the end with your time and money. Mr. Kraus who writes unprofessional emails and does not respond on time, needs to go back down the ladder and get anothe job. Shame on the person in charge of this Media Markt. Shame on you!
They have this guy name Paul. he was picking a fight with me. he should not be working there. he was pushing me to buy expensive product and saying media markt own brand was not good. he has anger issues. when you serve a customer you don’t pick a fight. the aim is to sell and serve. but again the fact that I am from Afghanistan could have made him behave like that.
