It is the very last time I am taking my business to a German store. I will order everything from Amazon going forward. I cannot believe how terrible the customer service is. I know, in the States everyone is in debt and that’s not great either, but in the US you spend your money because companies make it easy for you and they make you feel great about buying something from them. In Germany, most of the time it feels like they think, “It’s not my fault you decided to spend your money here. Now get out.” And MediaMarkt definitely falls into this category. Not fun.
I bought a phone with a full guarantee. Unfortunately, I broke the display. It took me over a month, to get it fixed. First, i waited 14 days, and when I asked about the repair status, I was challenged to prove I have full protection. I had to come again to their place. After I proved the said sorry. Then I had to wait another 14 days to get it done finally. I am giving four stars, not because of wait time, but because they gave me a voucher for 30 Euros for the time I had to spend.

Update 2022: still excellent service and selection. My daughter needed a charging cable for her Dell laptop. We were assisted immediately and were even able to test it before making our purchase to ensure it worked properly. Awesome.
