English Speakers AVOID! –

I bought a washing machine here and when I called to ask about when it was going to be delivered I received the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I was hung up on twice. One girl said I wasn’t german and just hung up on me. I’m not sure if all Media Markt’s staff refuse to deal with foreigners but I’m sure if that someone behaved like this in my country they would be sacked for this level of intolerance.
I have spent about EUR2,000 here already this year but I will not be spending any more money with this company.

Media Markt is a large chain of technology, gadgets, and electronics, a lot like a Best Buy (US). This one does not disappoint with selection, availability, and service. I’ve purchased numerous items from this location and even had to return some for various reasons and always has great service. Bought a laptop, which had issues retaining a charge and returned it for repair. Recieved it back fixed, faster than expected.
A lot of the workers also speak English for any who need it.

I went to media markt in Amberg for a new battery for my iPhone 12 mini. Not only was the customer service awesome, but the help and service on my phone was extraordinary! I drove 35 minutes minutes to get there, because the media markt right by my house was very little help. The drive was totally worth it. I totally recommend the media markt in Amberg.
