It’s a Bad store / the personals are unprofessionals, I’m a client of Media Markt since couple of years and where I usually buy my electronic devices. I came here last Saturday to buy 3 Smartphones for gift to the family ; the salesman (in Smartphones area) was very unprofessional, he billed me additionally 29EUR for each telephone (29EUR x3) as Versicherung without asking me, if I wanted this Versicherung or not!! As I was in a Hurry, I didn’t pay attention to the Bill instantly, then at home I saw that 29EUR for each telephone was taken additionally! Then I had to go back to the shop on Tuesday to return the Smartphones and get another three!! It was wasting of time and Hectic as well with a Baby!! I’m just Disappointed!!

They insisted that they can only replace an iPhone X display without the face ID working… they claimed that this is a thing for all MediaMarkt shops and they are waiting for some kind of email, so they can do it properly, even though they have done it before for me a few months ago. It is very bizarre, since the hardware for face ID is built into the displays, so I don’t see any reason for this and they could also not explain… maybe if they spoke better english, they could.

The previous replacement worked fine and was done same day.

Was looking for a specific accessory.
Salesman said they didn’t have it.

I thought that was not possible because the item was VERY BASIC.

So I gave it a second, more thorough check, and I found it.

When I went back to the salesman to indicate that the store in fact carried the item, he said that HIS department didn’t.

Why didn’t he direct me to another department in the first place?

I didn’t bother telling him about service since it was obvious that he would not listen.
