My Macbook died overnight for some unknown reason. I took it to Apple who, after I’d waited for almost three hours, took a look, stated they couldn’t see what was wrong and gave me a huge quote for a replacement motherboard.

I went to Metacube for a second opinion and they tried their best but failed to fix the problem. Basically the computer was a write-off. I know they had it in pieces and ordered the parts they thought might revive it but to no avail.

They still get a top review as they were honest, upfront and didn’t even charge me a fee as the machine was dead.

I will definitely use them if I get another computer issue. They know what they are doing.

Took my ‘dead’ Lenovo yoga in to try and repair it. I had already been turned away by another repair shop. They completed extensive diagnostics to identify the fault. They managed to get the unit to switch on again, but the battery replacement didn’t fix the laptop as expected. I thought I was going to be charged for their time, but was astonished that the laptop was returned with no fee as they could fix it. I couldn’t be more pleased with that kind of service.
