Brought my working iPhone 6 into the shop. The screen was badly broken but was working perfectly fine and had been for around 2 months.

Was charged PS80 and told to return within 40 minutes to get it back.

When I returned the phone was working but the battery died on my way home. When I plugged the phone in, the phone would not boot up and would flash red. When I called back, they told me it a faulty screen and they had received a faulty batch. I took the phone back and they said they would call me. They called about an hour later with “bad news”, they said that a new problem had arisen with the phone and now the issue could only be fixed by taking the iPad into the apple shop.

They refunded the PS80 and told me to go to the apple shop.

I have now lost all my data, contacts, photos and will be without a phone for a few days.

Terrible service, will advise everyone to stay clear of these chaps

I didn’t read reviews before taking my phone into this shop, I should have. Me and my partner both took our screens to be repaired and both had to take it in a second time due to faults. We then had to take it in a third time because my partners was still faulty and mine had overheated and switched off and still now won’t come back on. If you do choose to go in, make sure to sign your own form if you go in a pair, even if they tell you not to. I was accused of lying, told I never went in a second time and only after I made a huge fuss did I get an apology. Wouldn’t recommend.

The owner of this shop seems to think that responding nicely to my review is going to distract customers. Again, I wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t even want to use my warranty for a screen repair at this point. Go in with a broken screen, come out with a broken phone. Laughable.

I went in for a screen replacement on my Pixel 7 Pro which I’d dropped on it’s corner. They were competitively priced and did the screen replacement on the day and checked everything else out in the process. It’s great that they guarantee their work and even though I had a slight issue which wasn’t seen in general use, it was resolved very quickly and professionally under warranty. No need to go anywhere else for battery or screen replacements in Altrincham in my experience.
