Always had such a good experience with this shop, took many phones there to be fixed and never had a problem until this week! I phoned to get an estimate for my sons Samsung galaxy s6 to have a new battery and was quoted PS20 which I thought was very reasonable, so agreed to take the phone up to have it done, bearing in mind I had to travel 30 miles to get there, they said they would have to order the battery in for Tuesday which was ok so I travelled the 30miles up to lynn on the Tuesday and arrived in the afternoon. They then said I’m very sorry but the battery hasn’t been delivered yet so we came to the agreement of them posting the phone to me when it was done. Two days later I’m still waiting to hear so rang them up and they told me the battery had just arrived (Thursday) and they will post it first class that day, finally received the phone on Saturday without it’s protective case so rang them and he said oh sorry it’s still here in store, luckily I was going to lynn on Sunday so arranged to go in store and pick the case up and settle the bill. When I went in Sunday they then informed me that the bill was PS45!!! I said I was quoted PS20 on the phone but he just said oh no madam not for a galaxy battery! I’m absolutely fuming after all the time it took and then not even posting the case, he had the cheek to say well I won’t charge u postage for the phone!! I will never be using this shop again and what a shame as I have three kids and lots of service sent their way, well not anymore. If he’s have quoted me PS45 in the first place I wouldn’t have gone there.

i accidentally smashed the glass cover on the primary camera on the iphone 13 plus. i took it to this shop to have replaced which cost me PS30 on 26/03/22.
i have evidence that my camera was working the day before of the repairs, metadata of a photo on my phone shows a successful photo was taken on the 25th (day before).
The repairs were completed and the primary camera on my iphone no longer works.
the repairers refused to accept that they have damaged my camera and say that this was my fault. how can it be when i didn’t complete the repairs??
anyway, after lots of tears in the shop, they refunded my money. can’t understand why they done this, if you’re not accepting liability for the damages, why would you give me my money back?
i took my phone to other local repairers and i have since found out that the removal of the glass cover is done by a machine with a laser. i know for certain that in this shop, he used a pick because he explained to me that’s how he done it – at this point, i wasn’t aware that the laser was the correct removal method. why on earth would you accept a repair job if you do not use the correct equipment to process the repairs.

anywho, service and quality of repairs here are terrible so i will be going to trading standards to open a case on this shop to pay for the replacement camera from apple, costing PS400.

I bought a galaxy A41 from Mobile Guru 3 years ago it had 2 sim cards one for UK one for Germany as I travel around quite a lot. last Friday I dropped it and took it in Saturday for a new glass. they told me it would be ready Tuesday, we’ll see if it is ready by then.
So far since using this shop I have been happy with the professionalism portrayed. With reference to a lady who put in an S6 for a new battery and was quoted 20 pounds, and charged 45 GBP, if I had known the cost to be 45 pounds I would have jumped at that price, not the 87,80 GBP I eventually paid at another shop, and waited 5 weeks for it be returned.
