Issue: the front screen had cracked and the back had a chipped

I went to Mobile King, on a recommendation. It took a day to “fix” but when I went to collect (on a Monday), the front camera wasn’t working so it was kept for a day to fix that.

Tuesday – while fixing, the technician broke the motherboard which now needs to be ordered

Over the next few days, I have no updates, no contact. I call several times and when someone finally answers, I’m told someone else will call me back with an update……….. and they don’t.

Following Tuesday – the motherboard arrives, am told it’s only 30 mins to fix. Go to collect, and my phone is still being restored

Weds – I finally get my phone back. As there was no back up just before they messed with it (the last back up was probably a week before), there is a lot of settings and updates that I need to fix. And my front camera no longer works.

Absolute shambles. And what did I get for all this massive inconvenience (which included not being able to access my internet banking, my work authentication and the multiple trips from Binley to Radford)? 20 quid off the screen fix. That’s it. They covered the cost and repair to the motherboard (as they should because they broke it) but I was really inconvenienced by their work and errors and a measly 20 quid was it.

Will never use this shop again and annoyed I have to return to get my camera sorted.

Went in there to get a new phone the guy didn’t know anything about phones

He then tried to sell me a samsung s21 claiming it just came out even though I’ve already been using the s21 since August 2021.

He then went on the sly on his phone reading off what the s21 features are.

So I wasted time going to his shop only for him to kick me out at around 3pm because he had to go pick up his son.

Don’t know if he owns the shop but he clearly doesn’t know anything about phones or cares about selling to customers.

Today i took my sons phone in which werent turning on or charging, the gentleman in the shop took it and looked at it within 5minutes it was on and working i asked him what i owe him and he said nothing, excellent service , thankyou my son was very grateful too and now i can let him walk from school knowing i can call him again when needed
