My iPad screen had shattered so I needed to repair it. (Nothing else was broken, just the screen.) So I went to look for repair places and found Mobile Palace. It was the first time I went there for a repair, and it’ll be the last.
When my mum dropped it off, they told her it would take a day or two and that they would call us. On the second day, they didn’t call either me or my mum so I decided to call them and, when I did, they told me that it would take another five days to fix. It bothered me at first but I still waited. When it was time to pick it up, it seemed that the screen was fixed, but then my mum saw that the home button wasn’t working when it was working even with the broken screen. They put a shortcut button on the screen that would act as the home button. Afterwards, when back at my place, I saw that the screen was detached from the iPad itself. The glue wasn’t strong enough to hold it together.
I went back to the stall with my mother to complain. There was a man attending the stall and he told us that he couldn’t help us but that the manager would be in in two days. So in two days, I came back, with my father this time, and we saw a girl attending the stall this time. She wasn’t the manager, in fact, the manager wasn’t in at all. My father was very angry and demanded a refund but the girl said that we couldn’t get it. My father then asked for the manager, who was the reason we went there, and the girl called him up. I’m guessing she told him what was going on since she was talking to him in another language and hung up without letting either of us speak to him. The girl then told us that we could either leave my iPad with them so that they can fix it, free of charge, or file a complaint to their email and get the refund there. We chose the latter and left.
I don’t blame the employees working at the stall as they were only doing their job. The manager, on the other hand, has shown to be very cowardly, hiding behind his employees as they seem to be the ones dealing with unsatisfied customers like myself.
My advice to anyone pondering on whether to go to this place or not to fix their device, don’t. If I could give this place zero stars, I would.

Had very similar experience like someone already described.
Brought 2 BRAND NEW iPads to install screen protectors. Indian looking guy, who seems to work there most of days so carelessly treated my iPads, he placed them on a very scratchy glass surface and as I pointed at it he said “don’t worry about it” like it wasn’t a big deal for him. He installed screens with tiny bits of bubbles and dust trapped inside, when I pointed at one very obvious to me he said “it’s not a bubble” and yet proceeded to use heat gun to remove it. When I came home I noticed SO much more of it because the lighting in the shops wasn’t the best. I came back 15 min later and asked for a refund or replacement. He rejected everything, he said that I walked away and payed him therefore I was happy, hence no refund. I could e-mail their website.
The following week the guy was replaced with a girl.
Long story short I reached Fair Trading. They sent me e-mail that the shop is willing to replace the product.
So I went to the shop with this letter to demand replacement . Exact same Indian guy said that he will not replace screen unless I bring him old screen, but the letter didn’t mention to bring anything back! He argued with me and my partner and then jumped on the call with his manager. After 10 minutes spent on the call he said “We are not supposed to give you replacement unless you bring old product back (INSTALLED protection screen) but ok I’ll give it to you this time”
What an absolute joke!! Absolutely dodgy place, dodgy business and dodgy dude working there!! I’ve got it all on video recorded

Left phone at 2pm for a free assessment told her the phone was turning on and off on and off. The worker told me was going to call me within 20 minutes did not call I went back at 4:30 on the website so they open till 5 pm. They were not there.. shop closed.

I went to work the next day I had no phone call from this repair shop. I tried calling about 10 times throughout the day did not answer the phone. .

Very unprofessional they should not keep someone’s position if they don’t communicate with the owner. Very disturbing like they were trying to steal my phone. The worker there was very rude. Argumentative told me I needed a new battery which I took it to another place and it was not the battery. It was just a bad connection. She’s a liar.

Was telling me false information about the phone to try and charge me $120 for a new battery. Was not a battery issues.

Very rude, poor communication and held my phone for a day and a half without My permission. They should not be in
business, very unprofessional.
