Went to get cracked phone screen repaired. When I brought in the phone, Prince assured me that it would be no problem and sorted in an hour at a cost of PS45. So far, so good.

After an hour, I went back in to be told he couldn’t turn the phone back on after trying a couple of different new screens and even after replacing the original cracked screen. He said something about some parts inside being poor quality and substandard replacements for the original parts – this is actually entirely possible as the phone was acquired second-hand from a relative, but I’m not convinced he knew what he was talking about. He told me he’d need 1-2 days to check the motherboard in order to solve the problem, and advised me the total cost could be in the region of PS80. His one other suggestion was to buy a new phone from him for PS160.

After taking two minutes for myself to deliberate what to do, he came over to tell me that he’d managed to get the phone working after all with a new screen. I paid him the PS45 he originally quoted and he threw in a free screen protector.

I left feeling relieved everything was sorted but certainly not confident enough to visit again or recommend to others.

Warning- scammers- took my phone in Sunday as it wouldn’t switch on. After messing me about 3 times, went in to collect it and the screen was smashed. Told them the phone was pristine (as it was in a case) they said come back in 1 hour they will put new screen on it. I did and the shutters were down and shop shut. I have just gone back in today and front screen fixated but back of phone smashed and camera smashed. Told them my phone was immaculate when I dropped it off it just wasn’t switching on. Refused to fix it and said the phone came like that which is lies. Not only that still hadn’t fixed the initial problem- I am now out of pocket even more as I will have to get the back and camera fixed as well as the initial problem. For any future customers please beware before going into this shop as it will cost you more than you bargain for. I am seeking legal action on this company as they shouldn’t be allowed to get away with this.

Only paid 110 for what we had fixed on the phone when we had been previously been quoted 260 somewhere else!! Was done in less than 2 hours and when we went back to pick it up, we asked to buy a phone case which he added for only a fiver and he even put on a screen protector for free when we went back and asked! Would definitely recommend going here, generous service n great staff
