Bought an iMac from eBay from this company. The screen FELL OUT of the case and smashed on my desk just under 3 months after purchase. It wasn’t being used at the time, and nobody was near the desk, we simply heard a bang, and there was the whole screen just laying on my desk, smashed on the mouse.

Contacted the company as this isn’t acceptable and the computer supposedly had a 12 month warranty, but was told to claim on my home insurance. Also told ‘screen damage’ wasn’t covered by their warranty, but the screen wouldn’t have been damaged if it hadn’t fallen out of the case as cheap adhesive tape had been used to repair it!

I asked to return the computer, they told be they would refuse the return. So unfortunately I have had to go through my bank to get the funds back for this. Shocking customer service, and to be honest I can only review their products based on my experience with this computer, but I would avoid them and buy from a more reputable seller.

Little update for this:

The court found that the company had sold a computer which was not of a satisfactory condition or fit for purpose.
So make sure you take these people on if they come after you, as you can see from the other reviews here, they are a company who cut corners and sell shoddy ‘refurbished’ computers.

Additional update:
If this company put in as much effort to repairing and selling computers as they they do to getting the bad reviews deleted from their google and trust pilot pages, they might actually have a half decent business! To reiterate, avoid this company, the computers are dodgy, the ‘repairs’ are shoddy and the ‘warranty’ they offer is worthless.

That is awful tragedy, if you want to buy laptop from them. This is a late review, because I was struggling to write my comment about my laptop dell latitude E7240 which I bought from my cheap laptop about PS400 and exactly after a year the LCD started to show some spots on it and then became bigger till finally the screen started to be dark, honestly I did not use this laptop for long term and was looking after it so much. they knew what the issues may laptops have, but this types of issue is not starting after I bought it, this issue had been with this laptop before I bought it, and they did not repair it properly. I am so disappointed about this wasting money which I spent to buy this laptop with the mentioned issue. I highly recommend not to buy loptop from this company as they are not honest with the customers

Ordered two laptops for my sons for Xmas 2018, great price delivered well before expected, easy set up instructions that worked first time and my boys were delighted. Unfortunately one of them developed an error message recently and wouldn’t load so I contacted My cheap laptop to see if they could help and much to my delight, not only were they prepared to help, they asked me to return the laptop and within 48 hours it was back with me fully functional no charge except the postage. I can’t praise this company highly enough for their service and customer care. Well done My Cheap Laptop, I have already recommended you to friends and will do even more so thanks to my recent experience.
