I experienced a devastating water accident with my MacBook the day before I was scheduled to leave for the United States. I was in a panic because I was returning for work meetings, and being without a computer (or having to replace one on short notice) would have materially disrupted my plans. I went to an Apple Store in London to see if they could help, but they told me it would take a minimum of two weeks to get my computer back. The “specialist” who looked at my computer seemed inexperienced and unsure of what they were doing.

As a last resort, I found Newtons and took my computer there. Not only were they able to quickly diagnose the extent of the damage, but they also fixed it the same day, allowing me to leave with a working laptop. I would recommend this company to anyone without hesitation. They are knowledgeable, honest, and dependable.

Took my laptop here and was ensured there was nothing wrong with my battery and I needed a logic board replacement to the tune of PS180. Received the service and laptop was still not working properly. Took it back in and was told I need a battery replacement after being told initially I definitely did not.. Man working in the shop was rude and unhelpful when I returned. Happy to take money but not rectify problems. It’s a really upsetting experience to be scammed by a business in this way.

I have been to Newtons twice now and each time they have been outstanding. Often with Mac repair shops they over complicate or confuse the problem – it was the total opposite here. They fixed the problem and charged me less then I feared. Not only that when the laptop came back they had replaced my missing command key without even mentioning it.
