This place has been a godsend at various times of my life. Used to live locally and visit often, but no longer live in the area. Having said that, it is my Internet cafe of choice (even though I have loads of Internet cafes nearer to me). The guy who runs it is the most helpful, patient and friendly guy who is willing to help with any request you may have about computing or phones etc. He let’s you use the computers without any feeling that you need to come off in a rush (I’m often needing to write some kind of war and peace dossier when I go), so I’m there for a LONG time. His prices are MORE than reasonable and he has kept them consistent for ages – with no sudden price hikes. Great customer service and will always be loyal to truly decent people! He’s that guy!

Brought a phone in for repair, requested only original parts be used but phone has never worked the same since the repair. Camera will never focus and the brand new battery will only charge to 85% and won’t hold the charge for long.
The one thing I am grateful for is they were able to repair the screen without loosing all my files (big help) but could no longer plug a usb into my phone and transfer files from my phone to my computer after the repair.

I have had to purchase a new phone shortly after. So probably wouldn’t rush back there unless I needed to save my data and I could accept a new phone maybe needed after the repair. My expectations would have been managed, but more than likely go somewhere else.

Quite dissapointed overall.

Went in & got price quoted, paid a cash deposit & went home. Then got call stating quote was wrong & they had to put price up by close to 10%. Then today got a text saying they couldn’t get the screen. When I called up to ask if it was to do with my phone or their suppliers they asked if they could call me back & then started talking about me before they hung up the phone. When I mentioned this next time we spoke, the response was “let’s cut this conversation short – when are you collecting your deposit?”

So credit due for being honest about the lack of availability of the screen but the rest of the customer handling – very poor.
