I’ll even give 10 stars. Not only 5.

TL;DR: Got a water-damaged macbook fixed in 24 hours (or a bit less, tbf). Super happy. Go here if you’ve got similar problems.

Had a freak accident where my Macbook Pro M1 Pro got water-splashed from opening a bottle of sparkling water. Was a tiny splash, some water got into the ports and it was enough to kill it.

Brought it here in the afternoon, the friendly & informative guy saw it and took some data. I asked for an “express” service which means it should be done by the next day.

I was called the next day that it’s done, and voila! Good as new. The guy even showed pictures of the damages / corrosion on the board which caused the problem. My laptop also got (physically) cleaned which is a nice touch!

All in all, I can’t stress how much of a lifesaver this place is. Apple would’ve asked for a lot more money and time and I’m glad this place exists. Again, 10 stars.

The boss approached me and said: “The computer no makes worky worky!” But this clever little fellow knew what to do right away. He dug this address out of the back room of his brain. And rightly so. I was treated excellently there. The costs were nicely garnished and presented. It was supposed to take days, but shortly before bedtime the phone rang. The next day in the morning I went and took the holy implement with me. I was full of joy, because I saw it with my eyes: The computer runs like a slick old fashioned retro voltage conversion device and will accompany me and my working life even more. Thanks!

I went to this service centre with my laptop. After initial diagnostic, he suggested me some solutions to try by myself.

Since the weekend was nearby and he had a lot of other stacks of orders already, he said that it’ll take at least 3-4 days to deliver. So it’s better to try by myself once at the weekend.

He didn’t even charge me anything for the initial diagnosis, which surprised me a lot. Also, the suggestions he provided worked like magic for me. So I didn’t have to take my laptop to him again.
