Five starts for the male workers and 0 stars for the woman with the clipboard – averaged a 3 stars. Went to the 02 shop in High Street Chelmsford today. The man/men who served me were polite with a very good level of customer care, they made me feel valued as a customer. There was a woman (may be the manager) who was walking around with a clipboard writing notes and staring at the other workers. She then was talking to an older man (customer) disrespectfully. She spoke to him in a derogative manner. She was standing over him spouting instructions as though he was much too much trouble to be dealt with. She then spoke in a rude manner to the very helpful worker. Then, she spoke to me in a rude manner. Whoever she is she needs to go back and learn how to treat customers and how to treat fellow workers. She would learn a lesson or two from her fellow workers and also the lovely shop assistant in High Chelmer Skechers shoe shop.
There really is no point going into the shop for a new phone unless it’s the chance it is in stock there and then. It can be done online exactly the same. The customer service experience is a lot less than it used to be. Acceptable, but didn’t get an introduction from the advisor, or a goodbye. Just purchased the phone and was directed online for any support.
Edit: The response to my review is incorrect. I said nothing about the phone not being in stock,it was! It was the in-store experience that was a bit flat for me… Not reading my feedback correctly shakes my faith in O2 customer service further… End of the day though this review and my feelings don’t matter. Just another grumpy customer with too high expectations probably.
Can’t answer their land lines to save their lives apparently. I just want to check if my click and collect is ready to be collected. Given the amount of times I’ve had to go in to previous stores and been sent away because it “wasn’t quite ready” when though my email says it’s available on THAT day, I should think they’d at least be able to answer the phone so I know to go in and get it or not. Useless
