I was considering upgrading, a month early, however after been passed from one department to another, when ringing online customer services amd promised phone calls, where not returned. I decided to visit a store for advice.

I went to the metro centre, for the sole purpose of visiting the O2 store, however despite 3 members of staff, standing around chatting, I was informed that there was no one available to serve me, instead I was asked to leave my mobile number and they would text me, when someone was free.

I spent the next 40 minutes waiting for a text, to tell me there was someone free to serve me, what other retailer sends you away, informing you they’ll text you when someone is free to serve you?

And if you want to have a look at the phones on offer, you get a plastic box to look at!

In the end I gave up, the text finally arrived as I was driving away from the metro centre. This was the final straw, for me, with O2!

Went in yesterday to ask a stuff to top up a number for me. She stood there doing absolutely nothing and told me there’ll only be someone to help after 2 hours. The shop looked quiet and she said she was short of staffs. I left and went to the O2 in Eldon square today instead and it took less than a minute to get it done. What an absolute joke. Laziest staff I have ever seen. She is the staff with short hair and a swollen eye.

Went in to the shop on Thursday with a worrying problem that started that morning on my wife’s phone which we couldn’t resolve. Dan took the phone from us as in one hand as I briefly explained the problem to him, when he handed it back and said, “thats it”.
I’m guessing he used his thumb to fix it as I talked. Anyway, problem fixed. Something turned off which had been accidentally turned on. Amazing! Thanks Dan.
