After giving 11 years of excellent service my Dell desktop just refused to boot up. I searched online to find someone nearby who might be able to fix the problem; PC Fix was local to me and had excellent reviews, so I went online early one evening and reported my situation. I got a reply within the hour saying Steve would call round the next morning.
He arrived as scheduled at 11.00, quickly identified the problem, replaced the faulty component and had the computer up and running again by lunchtime. When Steve noticed that I was still running Windows 7, he quickly pointed out the dangers of running an operating system that was no longer supported. I had been planning to update to a newer version, so this seemed like a good opportunity to have it done professionally. So after discussing the options, I was happy for Steve to take the computer away, install Windows 10 and fit a new solid-state hard drive thus maximising the benefits of the upgrade, while leaving the old hard drive as a back-up option. He brought the computer back the very next day and took me through the new set-up. So in effect I now have a new computer, at a cost that was very reasonable and only a fraction of what I was expecting to have to pay!
I cannot speak too highly of Steve and the service he provided; it was excellent in all respects. Another positive factor was Steve’s very pleasant, friendly, engaging and courteous manner which instilled in me a confidence and reassurance that I had made the right choice.
I can give PC Fix only the strongest of recommendations, and I would certainly have no hesitation in contacting Steve again should I need help in the future.

What can I say that has not already been said. I will try. Steve saved me a massive amount of time and money. He briefed me fully on what was wrong with my desktop computer. Repaired it quicker than I could have expected. Less than 24 hours. If it was not for Steve I would have lost a lot of work. His customer service is exceptional and very friendly. I highly recommend Steve for any repairs or upgrades you need for your pc’s / laptops. He’s very friendly, easy to talk to and very informative. Took my hp laptop to him to be reset and and install windows 11. Was done in few hours. Running like clockwork. And for a very reasonable price too I may add.
