We started operating a new building in Regina which had been using PC Place as a vendor. Last week one residential customer wondered if wifi could be a little faster in the building. We contacted PC Place, they mentioned there was a needed update and that they would fix it. For the next two days nobody in the building had reliable wifi at all. Afterward we are consistently getting complaints from many customers that wifi is extremely slow.
PC Place sent a bill for $600 to ‘speed up’ our wifi. We are now paying for a company to disrupt our service with the end result of having it slower than it was before. I’ve tried reaching out to PC Place multiple times in the last week to rectify the situation and nobody has responded to multiple phone calls and emails.
Stay away from this company if you want quality service or IT services that take responsibility for their work.
Working with PC Place on Victoria Avenue in Regina has been a very pleasant customer experience each time. I have utilized PC Place several times (both for business and personal computer reasons) and I find the staff is always knowledgeable and helpful. The kind of service and help you just cannot get from a box store in my experience. Better off to work with computer experts rather than the box store generalists. At least this way if you have any post purchase concerns or servicing you have a reliable source to help you. You don’t get that at the box store or on-line. Worth thinking about before you buy solely on price, especially when it comes to technology. I highly recommend PC Place. Thanks for all your help in the past and I will continue to be a customer.
Was having issues with my 360 envy all in one. Wouldn’t boot up. Took it in about 4 pm, and the next morning, it was ready and working. Which was covered in the initial service fee. Would have cost me $400 to send to HP cause it was just out of warranty. Honest and reliable! Definitely recommend! Thanks!
