I took my Motorola in to have the screen replaced as I smashed it. Despite the damage, the phone worked perfectly. Firstly they ordered the wrong screen and therefore quoted the wrong price. Then agreed to do it at the original price as I was going to leave it. Honestly wish I had.

Once they had the correct screen, it was replaced quickly. Didn’t use phone on collection as it had elastic bands on to aid adhesion of new screen. On going home, leaving bands on overnight and charging the phone (with official charger I will add), the phone randomly switched itself off in the morning whilst my son was watching a video and would not come back on. I put it on charge and managed to restart it, but as soon as I took the charger out it died. It would only stay on when above 86% battery, as soon as it reached 86% it shut off. I went back and they couldn’t see a problem, said they don’t touch battery etc (I’ve had someone else look and they said you have to remove battery in this model to replace screen), then said it wasn’t the battery, then it was, then said would order a new battery but I’d have to pay for it. New battery came, wouldn’t charge, took home to try, finally charged (but never fully) discharged really quickly.

After nearly a month of going back and forth to Crystal Peaks, driving nearly 70 miles in total, I had had enough and told them to remove the phone screen and battery and give me a refund (which I had to chase as they couldn’t give me cash there and then).

They were fairly polite throughout, but their communication (promised phone calls, etc) is terrible and they ruined a PS160, 17 month old phone, which ended up working worse than it did with a smashed screen! Do not recommend, try elsewhere.

Don’t ever ever use this place to get a IPhone screen fixed. I had a brand new iPhone 12 working perfectly fine just an annoying crack in the corner so I made the mistake of getting my screen fixed … Now I have a iPhone 12 in a worse condition than ever, the screen completely shattered straight across the top! The phone got that hot !!!! Nothing worked correctly the screen doesn’t touch and just turns on and off and the brightness alternates. Never ever had this issue all because they’re using whatever they want on the screens! To top it off I then went back as you have a 28 day warranty apparently…. Sorry this is not the case at all, he point blank turn round and felt the phone and said yes it’s hot! To turn round and say I can’t fix the phone for free because it’s damaged …. So on top of what I already paid out he wanted more … DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

I wanted to purchase a screen protector and a new cover for my phone. The service was first rate. I was recommended a screen protector and given a choice of colours for the phone cover. Once I had chosen I was.fully expecting having to put the screen protector and cover on myself and was delighted that it was done for me at no extra cost. I will be recommending peak communications to My friends and family.
