Go to the Phone “Clinic” for a botched job.

My Sony Xperia phone screen was cracked (but still working), however I wanted to get it replaced. I took it into Phone Clinic and they said they could replace it for PS60. I gave them the money and came back later that day to find they had put a cheap screen on which actually had a smaller display size than my original. They kept saying it was the same when it clearly wasn’t. I had to end up going to CEX to find the same phone to prove it to them (even though they definitely knew and were just trying to scam me). They finally admitted it was a cheap unofficial screen from China. They gave my money back but refused to do so until they had taken their screen off my phone. They no longer had my cracked screen so they handed it back without a screen. These are very rude people who obviously lie to their customers and if I hadn’t kept arguing with them they wouldn’t have given me my money back. After this experience I would definitely recommend paying more money to get your phone fixed properly and definitely avoid this place.

Edit: Just to add that when they gave my phone back the first time with their screen on, it was poorly done. The adhesive they had used had clearly not worked and the screen was peeling away from the phone.

Absolutely ruined my partners phone, repaired the screen and have made further damage to the phone. He went in a week later to be told that they would repair the battery for free (which was draining as fast as he could charge it) they asked him to return with the phone Monday. My mum took the phone in on the Tuesday and they said they never said this, tried to charge my mum with a price plucked out of thin air. Said it would be a certain price today because he had his mate in Birmingham and could get a battery that day but wanted money there and then. I spoke to them in the shop through my mums phone and they wouldn’t let me speak to them, talking over me being really rude and saying they never told my partner they’d do it free of charge. In the end my poor mum wouldn’t even go back in the shop due to them being so rude. To back this up we have confirmed with a couple of reputable phone repair shops that they have caused damage to the phone.

Unfortunately my story is similar. Bought a book style cover for my phone. A week later the phone had come away from the cover. I went in to complain. They set my phone up in a new one and then tried to charge me. I walked out with my phone. Suffice to say, I’m now home and the “new” cover has lasted 2 hours. The glue has clearly denatured. Don’t spend your money here
