If I could rate my experience in this store with a minus, I would. Red flags were going when they insisted I paid in cash.

I took my son’s phone in to the cwmbran store to have the screen repaired. I was told it would be ready the next day. I was impressed by the quick turn around time so agreed and handed over the phone.

It wasn’t ready to collect until a week later. At this point, I was told the phone also needed a new battery. We had no issues with the battery prior to this but I was told the phone wouldn’t work without the new battery so I had no choice but to agree. I was also told the front camera was no longer working but no explanation given for this.

I was charged PS180.00 in total and left with the phone held together with elastic bands, under the advice not to remove these for 2 hrs as the glue needed to set.

2 days later the home screen button fell out (this came with the new screen) and the screen itself started gliching.

I returned to the store, expecting the issue to be recified but I was told it was impossible for the home screen button to come out, therefore, we must have damaged it ourselves and would be charged a further PS110.00 to repair.

Needless to say I won’t be going back but I will be contacting trading standards on Monday

I took my expensive S23 Ultra to get a screen protector fitted. The attendant took my phone, removed the case and recommended a PS25 protector. He then fitted it, but had issues getting some bubbles out. He told me they would disappear once the screen had warmed up. They didn’t go and when I went back to complain he blamed the type of case I had for the bubbles and refused a refund, despite the fact that he’d removed the case and recommended the type of protector he fitted.

Absolutely terrible service, a complete rip off as I’ve had to remove it because it looked terrible.

Had my phone screen changed here about 2 or 3 months back it hasn’t worked properly since I have had it back the screen jumps all the time and the only way to stop it is to lock your phone. The boy put a screen protector on but don’t think it fitted tidy as the first time I dropped it it cracked my screen which was like a few days after having it replaced and now I’ve dropped it again and it’s cracked in loads more places and got a big black blob at the bottom of the screen with a big line up it , so yeah so much for a protector!! Don’t think I’ll use this place again.
