I took my 11 pro max in for a screen repair as I shattered the screen. Once it was fixed, I noticed how poor the quality of my screen was, it had a blue tint to it, as well as that it would freeze every hour or so. The screw in the bottom had also been stripped and was left sticking out the phone. (It’s only 8 months old and brand new out the box and was blamed on dropping it even tho there was a thick case on it). I messaged, and took it back in to get sorted out. To which the gent replaced the screen and it did stop freezing, and the screens colour was improved. It’s been just over a month and the screen has now started to pop out of the actual body of the phone. The biggest waste of over PS220 ever. The communication was good, but after already coming back to sort previous issues out. There’s no way I’ll take my phone back when it gets damaged more and more each time I have returned. Especially when it’s such an expensive phone. Absolutely furious.

Took my iPhone in for a new battery, they replaced the battery fine but broke the Touch ID. They then argued with me to say that it was broken when I came in. Disgraceful service and they shouldn’t be allowed to trade. They are on the same street as a far more reputable service, iFix, please use this shop instead and don’t make the mistake I did by going to the first shop in the street!

To respond to the owners comments – The very fragile ribbon cables for the Touch ID are on the screen module, which must be raised or removed to replace the battery. The ribbon cables must have been damaged when this action was performed. They offered to fix the issue for the price of a new screen. I did receive a refund for the battery the same day, but it still doesn’t change the fact that my phone is now damaged. Additionally the argument I had with the owner in the shop was not pleasant. It shouldn’t come to an argument at all.

Had my battery changed in August, as it was expanding, went Monday because it happened again, to be told it’s not under warranty so they would replace at a discount as I could be water damage (which is my fault) so instead of it being PS45 it would be PS35, took it to another place to be told not only has the expansion happened, the screen has been cracked, no water damage and they have completely wrecked my phone because I have no battery life recognised, completely messed my phone up and had to pay someone else to fix their undoing, so angry, I will be taking this further
