Criminal hack job, ruins your phone, avoid!

I had 3 screen repairs done here before, one of the phones a samsung j6 shortly after the first repair had the screen turn black after a small drop even though there was no damage so I had it repaired here again.

Now I have opened the phone myself as it exhibited the same defect and what I found is shocking!

The failure was because they did not place a cover back over the screen connector on the motherboard so even a small shock made the screen cable come lose, causing you to lose the image and thinking it’s your fault you will come back and he will get to charge you a second time, offering a discount since he is such a nice guy.

On the second phone a Honor 10 he used an insane amount of adhesive on the back and way to little on the front such that the screen fell out. The back case was glued on so hard that it could not be removed without being damaged, even after heating.

Regarding his reply, it’s all made up lies, I paid cash for every single repair, (3 displays and I also bought 2 phone cases) doubt this guy even knows who I am as this was over 2 years ago.

I’m not a charity case, even if you would believe they are repairing displays for free, he has no answer to why he failed to place back the cover…

Edit: I’m not sure what the owner’s response means. My review is of PhoneZone on the Parade in Leamington and is certainly not inaccurate. However, I didn’t have much faith that I would get a favourable response if I went back, especially considering they tried to charge me PS10 for a screen protector. When I questioned the price, they immediately dropped it to PS5.

I took my iPhone 13 here for a battery replacement. The battery they replaced it with was about 100 times worse than the original – I could literally count a % falling per second. I’ve had to go everywhere with a mobile battery pack, it was so bad.

Not only that, it left me with an irritating badge alert icon on my settings which wasn’t going to disappear.

I’ve ended up having another one fitted at Click OK. They said they’d never seen this make of battery, obviously very cheap, and that they’d stuck it to the inside of my phone which could easily have damaged it.

PhoneZone charged me PS60 for this privilege. Click OK usually charges PS45 for a battery replace, but they kindly reduced it to PS30 this time. But all in all, it’s still cost me PS90 for a new battery

Please do not go here for phone fixes!
I went for a screen repair and the new screen is incredible low quality, doesn’t acknowledge if you press something/press something else instead. It’s also started getting green LED dots and is all around an atrocious fix!
What people are saying about the battery suddenly being bad is also true, I don’t know if they are sneakily replacing the battery or just accidentally damaging it but it’s awful!

I am reporting them to trading standards please for your own sake do not use them for fixes
