I have iPad Air 4 which suddenly stopped charging for no reason. I got a quote on the email that Phone Geeks have provided to which they responded that it is likely a charge port problem (a view which I shared at the time) and they said they can fix it for PS85 which seemed reasonable. After going in person to actually give my iPad over they said it might be an internal rather than a external problem (to which I was also understanding) and the price went up to PS95 which I was still willing to commit to. They told me that they might break my screen while opening the iPad up so the price once again went up to PS150 if the screen cracked. That made me hesitate and I said I would like to try other places first to see if someone can fix it without breaking it in the process. I understand that Apple just makes their products especially the recent ones hard to open to get you to buy a new product rather than repair the old one. After seeing that no one can guarantee not breaking my screen I once again went to Phone Geeks to have my iPad repaired. My problem starts with the lack of consistency regarding the price point of their service because when I went to have it fixed in person the second time I was told that JUST the screen replacement would cost PS250 without the actual repair needed. The man straight up said that they do not take on repairs for iPads due to this reason. My issue is why was this not told to me on the first email request I made. Every single time I have inquired about the price for repair it kept going up and has NOT remained fixed. This is so unprofessional why do your prices not come at a fixed rate? How is this good for business? How come one person at the store offers to fix something that would otherwise be PS250+ in charges for PS150?? Even the quote I enquired about on the email said nothing about not servicing iPads due to how costly it is to fix them. I find that if how cheap something is to repair depends on the person you have working on the day in the shop is plain unacceptable and unprofessional.

Amazing help today with a broken phone that had the holiday of a lifetimes photos on it! EE/Samsung repair people just wanted to wipe the memory. The people at this shop understood what was important to me. Saving everything on the phone and even repairing it. All under an hour. All with a smile and keeping a very stressed me from crying.
