Mandatory $165 just to diagnose our mid-range Epson printer. Too expensive in my opinion so I did not proceed with the work.

Service by the manager was poor. When I called a very friendly and helpful person gave a price range of $75 to $165 for the inspection fee for my Epson projector explaining it could vary depending on the model. When I arrived the person at the reception (a different person, new but also helpful) looked up the model and immediately said it would cost $165 for the inspection fee. I politely asked how the inspection fee was determined (concerned that it was at the very top end of the scale given over the phone) and someone jumped out from behind the reception area asking if everything was ok as if I was causing a problem (I can see from the reviews that there’s a history. Now I understand why…). I accepted that that was the fee (they can charge what they like) but I asked why they could not quote on the inspection cost (not repair cost – I understand this would be subject to inspection) over the phone if I were to provide model details on the unit as the trip seemed as a waste of my time.
After repeatedly ignoring my question, the manager eventually said that the reception may not know the model and they needed to see the unit in person to be able to quote accurately. This doesn’t make any sense and they couldn’t seem to explain it. Again, if this is there policy, that’s their choice. My choice is not to do business with them after this encounter.

A new update to follow on the worst customer experience in my life. Six weeks to repair a coffee machine and finally get it back only to find they completely wrecked it and it now leaks.
I was going to delete this review after they said the delays were due to Breville but then, it what could only be described as the most bizarre case of poor customer management, they told me I would now have a red flag against my name in their system because I had given a poor review! I get the machine home, fill it up to test it then come back to a kitchen with water everywhere including a full kitchen drawer of water. There are also scuff marks on the front of the machine that weren’t there before.

I got a Breville coffee machine about 14 months ago and it failed just out of warranty, Prestige electronics really looked after my machine and it came back cleaner and fully fixed then when I took it to them. They provided good maintenance and care instructions to lengthen the life span of my machine which I have taken full advantage of. I can now confidently know this machine will last for many years to come. Im a returning customer of many years with my different appliances and am happy to always return as I know they will always provide to best care, communication and quality repairs they can.
