Took a laptop into the store for a guestimate to fix (would not switch on).
He spent about 20 minutes carrying out initial diagnostics and remedial actions to repair the laptop before admitting that it was the motherboard and due to its age I did not want it repaired.
Cost?? No charge and an appoloy for not being able to fix it.

An absolute gem of a find. I didn’t think my laptop was salvageable as it’s not worked in 2 years and my printer kept scrunching up paper due to the debris in it. I was getting ready to just Chuck it all out in frustration! Found theses guys. Took it in, all sorted in 24 hrs. Both working perfectly again. Over the moon and the price was extremely good. Thank you
If you need any kind of PC / laptop repairs, Wayne at Quest is your man. I cannot recommend him enough. I took my very slow laptop into him for repair on Wednesday and had it back the next day. It’s now running super fast and everything was explained to me as to what the problem was and how he had fixed it. Thanks, I will be back!
