I had a faulty hard drive which I purchased from Apple and went there to retrieve data as Apple couldn’t help in that department.
I needed some help and advice on what to choose and buy for the storage but I didn’t find it welcoming when asking questions. He said I have nearly 2TB data to be retrieved so have to buy the same capacity storage.

After a few days, I received the below text:

hi Helen, great news! i have managed to retreive all of your data. however i will need another external drive from you to transfer it all to. total cost so far is PS95.
please advise.

I went there with a 250GB SD and he said he can’t transfer to that and he need a 2TB
I purchased a 2TB and gave it to him and on collection date again I asked if everything is okay and all files been transferred, He assured me that everything had been retrieved and copied to the new storage device. I paid PS95 for that service which I believe is overpriced.

I came home and checked my folders and surprisingly found out that few folders are empty and when checked the drive information found out o ly 105 GB were being copied.

I feel disappointed and being scammed.
I confronted them, they said they are happy with the recovery and instead of apologising they sent me a threatening email that they will take legal action if I don’t remove my review.

This isn’t ethical to use people’s desperation to make money.

I don’t recommend them at all.

One of my hard drives on my PC clicked badly and my PC failed to operate with the drive plugged in.
The drive in question had incredibly important files on it.
I called Quickfix and after chat I then knew said drive had met its death…..
However, all was not lost. With the intervention of Quickfix, I now have a new SSD that all my precious files have been recovered to.
Fantastic and fast service from Quickfix. Would highly reccomend.
