After reading the almost unanimously positive reviews of this place, I brought them my Motorola g6 phone to have the cracked screen repaired. I inquired about cost and was informed that for 95 euros they could replace the screen, which was badly shattered, though the device itself still functioned fine. This seemed like a good deal. It was cheaper than buying a new phone and still somewhat cheaper than replacing it with the same model. I sincerely regret doing business here.

The first problem was the duration of service. I was told my phone would be fixed in two days. Since I don’t have another phone number, I left my email address. I never once received an email from them. When I returned two days later, I learned that work had not even begun on my device. They had to order the new screen, after it arrived it would then be two or three days to fix my phone. After two weeks I went to ask what the status was. Still no change. The screen they had ordered was the wrong one. They loaned me an old, barely operational phone that I could use until mine was fixed. I wondered why this hadn’t been offered to me at the start.

This pattern continued. I was the one who needed to contact them. This unprofessionalism was the second problem. Every time I did speak with them I would learn that they ordered a screen and learned that it didn’t work. The employee would also regularly make excuses about my phone being a bizarre model, or their suppliers being slow; and he was insistent on repeatedly pointing out that they were losing money on this repair. At this point it was also too late to take my phone somewhere else because they had disposed of the original cracked screen. I became more frustrated when after only a few minutes on Amazon, I found a replacement screen for the exact model. I shared it with Rana Mobiles and was told that they’d tried and failed with that one.

After six and a half weeks, I decided it best to abandon the phone and deal with the hassle of transferring apps and losing any data that wasn’t backed up. I told Rana Mobiles and suddenly they had managed to repair my phone with a new screen. It has been two and a half weeks since I received my phone back. The screen works, but frequently glitches, either not sensing the tap, double-tapping, delayed response, not swiping, etc. Also the button to increase volume does not work at all and the button to turn it down only works half the time. I don’t know how a new screen results in broken volume buttons, but the correlation is there.

The employee I interacted with was genuinely nice and apologetic about the undesirable nature of my case, nonetheless I found the service I received to be abysmal and the quality of work not worth the time lost and money spent.

Had a great experience, I highly recommend. Full story : Had a defective Google phone (Nexus 5), kept rebooting non-stop and couldn’t even charge it. Typical of Google phones btw. Anyways, saw the good reviews for this place and gave them the phone. They had to order a piece and weld a new power button to the motherboard, which made me realize I couldn’t have just fixed it myself! Was worth the 50 euros. They didn’t even lose my personal data. Very helpful and thorough service, good job Rana!

Went to Rana Mobiles for fixing the display screen of a Huawei P20. The screen had been damaged at the top and the phone was slightly bend. It was fixed within the day, it took roughly 6h and 90euros to fix. The bend has also been somewhat fixed, which is very nice. The replacement screen is working perfectly fine, but the quality is definitely lower than the original one (simply from feeling it). For the price and timing, it’s worth it.
