Nervous – they have my Phone and Password !!!

I took my iPhone 6Plus to Random Mobiles (16 Aug 2017) where Duncan (the owner) promised to replace the screen. Having taken the phone home I realised it did not work. Returning it to Duncan he said he would fix it, very reluctantly I was convinced to give him my password !!!!

However, for a week now he has refused to answer my calls, texts and emails. He has my phone and my password, access to all my data.

I am nervous, is he attempting to defraud me, take my identity or simply steal my phone. If he can’t repair the phone, why does he not just say so, why refuse to communicate with me????

Yes, I have Consumer Rights, but these take a long time to enact, however, you can be assured I will call on the full extent of the law against a person who has left me in such a state …

N.B. : having spoken to the Police they advise you should ever give your phone password out

Went to get my phone fixed, come back 4 days later my phone had been reset to the factor setting so I had lost all the pictures of my little boy, and to make matters worse my phone hadn’t even been fixed the bald man (the owner I’m asumming) then wanted to take my phone back to Manchester where it apparently thatshe where it got fixEd. I refuse and wanted my money back after so argument I got my money back but I will not have the pictures back of my son. I did ask would they have to wipe my phone to get it fixed and they said no, I would never use this hack of a shop again. I feel sorry for the lad and girl that work there as the boss has no idea what goes on with phones. This shopage and man really need reporting to trading standards.

Took my iPhone in for a new screen. Charged PS110 and less than 3 days later the screen stops working. I called the shop and explained what had happened – the guy explained that it would have to be sent away for an assessment to make sure it hadn’t been dropped. I told the chap that it hadn’t been dropped – the screen turned blue and then went completely black. he said that it must have been dropped if the screen had turned blue and that it would cost me a further PS100 to fix. This guy lives up to the reviews on here… not interested, unprofessional, and a con artist! DO NOT USE THIS SHOP!
