Service like this is hard to find these days!

I was struggling to get my new work laptop to connect with my external monitor, and my IT Support at BCP Council would have taken two days just to look into it. My job involves working with planning applications and GIS mapping software, so this issue was causing headaches–literally–in the 25-degree heat.

As a last resort, I called Rapid PCs in Christchurch, and Richard invited me to come in the same day. I brought in my tech, and he resolved the issue in about 10 minutes. The air conditioning was a relief, and Richard even helped carry my monitor downstairs. I can’t recommend them highly enough!

Wow. These guys are fantastic. I was locked out of my laptop but very aware that it needed a service. Within 24 hours I has a call back to discuss problem with hard drive. Not unexpected as 10 years old. Advised to have a new hard drive with data transfer which I accepted. The laptop was ready a few hours later. The gentlemen I dealt with and spike to on the phone were charming. They explained in straight forward terms without relying on geek. I am so grateful and heartily recommend. The best bit was a exceptionally reasonable bill. Thank you so much.

First Class service, these guys know what they are doing, friendly and approachable. Had an issue with a hard drive swap and they sorted it out. Laptop is better than ever and am very grateful to them (as are the charities I volunteer with!).
