No stars. Took my Google Pixel 4a phone in to be fixed the first week of March. The screen had gone black. I was told I would need a new screen and charging port and it would be ready within the week. A week later still not fixed. After 3 weeks it was ready, so I was told. Picked it up but since it was not charged I could not check to see if it was working. Most reparable companies would have your phone ready to work. Tried to charge it at home but it would not charge. A notice kept coming on the screen that the phone was overheating and should be turned off. Returned it the next day and so started another series of delays …working on it, waiting for parts etc., I was told. A couple of weeks later received a call that the phone was ready. When I arrived at the store to pick it up there was a new technician and the phone was again not fixed though I was assured it could be fixed. However, it was not to be. It was now the beginning of June and I finally asked for a full refund which I received. My phone was also returned but with no screen nor charge port and I am not sure if there were other parts removed.. I was told the boss said to remove the new parts that they had installed while trying to repair it. Apparently, the old parts had been thrown out. It took 3 months to tell me they could not fix my phone . The picture below shows what was returned to me. After three months I have a phone without it’s original parts which makes it impossible to take it to another repair shop for a proper repair.

Edit- got a full refund so I’m going to edit the * review. Overall, it still wasn’t a good experience, but everyone involved was reasonable and professional.

Had previously brought my iMac there with great service. Chris was fantastic. But I guess he’s gone, and now a new guy is there, Bernardo. I brought my iMac in with a hard drive issue. Wanted a SSD put in. First issue was that he couldn’t do it, so settled for a basic HD. Second was it took weeks to put it in. This is my main work comp, so it really set me back.

Once I did get it back though… the iMac (27″) screen popped off and cracked! Apparently he used the wrong seal/fixative. So… again, weeks to repair and replace.

Finally got it back, and it was running like crap. Could barely open Finder. And then… the screen popped off again!!

I found someone else to repair it, AND put in a SSD! So I’m happy now, but… I’m out $300+ with Repair Express basically doing nothing for me (everything they did, I had to get redone).

I raved this place before, but now I’d steer clear!

Repair Express Fixes computers & iPhones they don’t try to SELL you one. That’s the difference between Best Buy, London Drugs, & Staples Versus Repair Express.
I visited Best Buy with my Best Buy purchased MacBook Air computer. The geeks informed me I had a manufacturing defect with the logistics board.
They could not replace it because no logistics boards were available. They recommended I purchase a new computer since my 5 year old MacBook Air was like an old classic car.
I visited Repair Express for a diagnosis check.
Bernard diagnosis discovered it to be the Motherboard Bios and no backlights on the screen.
I still have to keep it plugged in but it works.

Bernard is an honest, ethical technician.
