Paid for screen replacement and battery replacement for iPhone XS (total PS120). Screen replacement looks good except that it does not sit completely flush in the phone back and since then some dust has gotten into the front camera (not the best).

The more important problem is that an unofficial, non apple battery was used for the battery replacement, so now the phone will not recognise the battery and the battery health app cannot be used. I chose to ignore this initially as the phone is old and the battery seemed to hold its charge better after the replacement. However 2 months on the battery is worse than before, the phone will get very hot and the battery will drain from 100% to around 20% in 3 hours of medium usage (data/messaging but no streaming or music).

Went in and got a free battery replacement within the warranty agreement. Battery holding up better, time will tell. Thanks for the help and good support.

Replaced screen yesterday with “equivalent” to what came off my iPhone 11, now sometimes it doesn’t respond to my touch and also looks different. Honestly would have just preferred keeping my cracked screen if I knew this would be the result. Also when you turn your phone on it will tell you the parts used are non genuine (and they aren’t forthcoming about that) and I would have been happy paying extra should I have known they were going to replace it with a screen that doesn’t respond all the time. They were fast to do it at <30mins however. Update: the phone screen does not work anymore and stays black - avoid and get it sorted properly with genuine parts

Took my laptop in for damage done by an errant mocha – absolutely faultless service provided by my technician, George, who quoted me a very reasonable price for a cleanup and battery repair. When I came to pick it up, it turned out that much more damage had actually taken place, which, for no extra cost, George had corrected. Zero complaints, and delighted to have my laptop back, thank you!
