I came in here with zero knowledge, seeking assistance from the staff to identify a power supply (cable) for a robotic dog purchased for my son for his birthday (it was purchased second hand, and didn’t come with the power cable). I brought the dog with me,
hoping together we could identify if the store had something for purchase what I could use.

Unfortunately, the customer service I experienced was the worst I’ve ever had. Despite my attempts at being friendly and admittedly unknowledgeable, the staff was dismissive of me and entirely unhelpful, scoffing at the questions I asked in trying to understand more. I asked politely several times if they’d be willing to work with me to help me understand how to find a power cable, attempting to google the model number of the robot dog and asking questions with no answer back until I eventually just walked away. I may not understand what amperage I need, nor what that even means, but it would be nice to have helpful staff share their knowledge and work together towards a solution.

Sayal is fantastic. They have all the little bits and pieces (resistors and capacitors and all that stuff) to build your next project, all neatly organized and easy to find. Plus they have all sorts of extra items to keep your significant-other and children busy with their own shopping for far longer than it takes you to collect all your own project parts. The staff is quite friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful as well. Shop online or in store, but if you go in person, allow extra time simply because there are so many interesting things up and down the aisles that you will want to explore.

Sayal is the kind of store you want to avoid. Beside a very poor return policy ( you typically can’t), the price of items you see on advertising posters IN THE STORE are just a suggestion… you pay more at the cash register. The deception is repulsive and probably illegal.. I intend to pursue and find out. The fact that they have no qualm in doing this for everyone to see makes you wonder what other shady practices they employ under the cover.
